Speed garage sci fi ghost fuelled rock for the masses

Zack (drums) and Craig (guitar) have been jamming together since they were kids, so some sort of organised project was always going to happen, but meeting Jess (synth) at music school two years was the icecream in the fizzy that made the delicious spider that is Fanucman. Their individual backgrounds in music composition has meant that they all have equal input in the writing process.

"Their diversity of sound and vision is sufficient to confound the genre nazis...They are real and credible. Not only in the mechanics of playing, but in the ideas behind the songs. And they're damned exciting on stage too."

And the name? Craig says, "Admittedly our explanation of our bandname's origin might not be entirely fact based. Some may even say we're makin shit up. But its somethin along the lines of: Fanuc is a company in Japan that makes robots (started by Dr. Fanuc), and in the 70s they made Fanucman who, at the time, was the biggest robot in the world. We're not sure exactly what fanucman was built to do. Seems like he was just wicked big. Check out the company website www.fanuc.co.jp they hav products with names like robocut and robodrill, how fukin cool is that?! and the employees all wear bright yellow. I know! As for the pronunciation, we're probably sayin it totally wrong but just say it like its spelt, although make the 'u' more of an 'i' sound, kinda like fan-ik-man. I dunno. Do what you want."
