Getting your content ready for sale is easy. At first it may seem a bit time consuming, but you'll just get faster and faster at it.
For each image:
1) Format it in several different formats, following our guidelines below.
2) Prepare your description, price and details.
3) Upload your other versions to match more mobile phones.
4) Lather, rinse and repeat for all your images.
PS: You must own the copyright to any of the content you plan to sell.
We suggest you print off this guide to have beside you while you format your images for the site.
Step 1 - Format your wallpaper or screensaver
Formats: .JPEG, .GIF, .PNG, .WBMP, .BMP, .TIFF, Animated GIF (Screensavers only)
Max File Size: 1MB (The file will be resized to suit the phone when it is sent out).
DPI: 72DPI or higher
For your image resolution you have two options:
1) Basic - Use our automatic resize. If you're not too picky about
how your image looks, you can safely upload an image that is 640x480px. We'll automatically resize this file when we send it to the buyer.
2) Advanced - Upload multiple versions and have your image look exactly the way you want. Our Producer PowerPixels was kind enough to share the different resolutions he uses to match many phones:
300x300 - for square screens (i.e. Nokia 3100 (128x128), Nokia 8800 (208x208))
320x240 - for 4:3 screen ratio (Nokia E61, N95)
240x320 - for 3:4 narrow screens
176x144 - Nokia Series60 (models like 6600, 6630, 7610, N70, NGage,...)
176x220 - Wide range of SonyEricsson models (K700, W810, Z1010,), Motorola (RAZR, ROKR, Pebl, V600, many other models)
320x480 - Apple iPhone screen size
Tip - The higher the resolution of your image, the better it will display, but don't make your image larger than 1MB.
Tip - Remember to save your file with a meaningful name. This will make it easier to find the file in a list.
Tip - Need to change your image into different formats and don't have the software? Try using Zamzar, an online tool that will convert for you.
Step 2 - Prepare your description, price and details
You must provide these details:
Title - what it's called
Description - A full and complete description helps buyers make decisions about buying. Think about adding a description that captures what you're selling.
Tags - a series of keywords; this is how buyers will find your item in a search.
Tip - separate your tags with a space, eg. "Golf green hit". To join two words together in one tag use double quotes, eg. "Golf ball".
Price - you need to price your content in a single currency.
If you choose US$, all your items must be priced in US$.
However, you can opt to have your content item appear at a specific price in a specific currency that is not your default by using the "Add Currency Specific Pricing" option on the first page of the upload process.
Tip - buyers on our site can choose to view content in the currency of their choice - so we'll convert your currency.
Optional Video - if you've got a YouTube video about your business, your works or something quirky to promote yourself you can add the link and it will appear next to your content on the site.
Country Copyright Restrictions - You might only own the copyright for certain countries. If there are countries you can't sell in, just note them down.
Currency Specific Pricing - You can choose to price your content differently depending on the currency of the buyer. However, this does open you up to foreign exchange risk - it's your choice :)
Forward Locking - You need to decide if you want to apply Forward Locking. Forward Locking is a Digital Rights Management option you can use to protect your content. Forward Locking prevents a buyer from being able to pass your content onto a friend. However, applying Forward Locking will also limit the number of buyers able to purchase your content, because it is relatively new on handsets.
Step 3 - Upload your other versions
If you want to offer your content in multiple formats, click the " Add Version" link from the Manage Content screen.
Tip - Remember to label your version with a name that will help you identify it quickly from the Manage Content screen.

Hi there amurphy7 and welcome!
We'll be releasing a feature in the next couple of weeks that will allow you to upload multiple size images. So for now I'd suggest uploading a large resolution, 320x480, and you can always add this size to your description or your title for now.
Hope that helps - let me know if you need anything else.

Hi and welcome as well!
just further to this, we currently auto size the image based on the target devices resolution. We will be adding the ability to upload and specify exact resolution, but the auto size will always be there as an option.
It will depend on how much control you want to have over the display on the device.
If you upload a decent size good quality image it should auto size nicely on any device.
cheers.

Here's a Tip... when making your WALLPAPER images, afirst upload a Square size (320x320 pixels). The first image you upload becomes
the default thumbnail - this will make your thumbnail on all pages be square and fill the full given thumbnail area and look better on all pages.
best of luck with your images.
