Rogers network, in Canada, is one of the first to outrage planned 3g iPhone owners with charges that have been called "ridiculous" and "a joke".
The basic $60 plan only allows for 400 megabytes of data. For any 3G iPhone user, it's an insult.
I'm based in New Zealand and looking forward to getting an iPhone, however Vodafone (NZ) needs to make sure they don't fall into the same trap.
Can anyone recommend a data plan, with their current iPhone, they like?

The iPhone in New Zealand will cost from $2469 to $6199 over 2 years, depending on the plan and how much is paid up front.
Check out the "great" iphone plans Vodafone (NZ) are going to offer.
Vodafone (NZ) is not going to sell the iPhone on pre-pay in New Zealand - heres an online peition against this.
Telecom may still be able to offer the iPhone when it launches its GSM network in November. Maybe.

seems an obscene cost at $240 a month for a measly 1 gig of data, seeing the head of vodafone marketing sitting in his Dr Evil like swivel chair on tv the other night made me laugh, yet another reason why carriers kill the content market.

And according to the comparison page you linked to above New Zealand is the most expensive in the world (and thats only for 1GB - the UK and US plans at least offer unlimited data on the highest plans) :-(
$250 for 1GB? What is this, 1995?
