Designed by Sir George Troup and built in 1906, this Flemish Renaissance-style station expresses the confidence of the Edwardian Age. Built of Kokonga basalt with Oamaru limestone facings and incorporating a variety of shapes, textures and materials the station is a "must see". See the map.
