Team Q&A – Meet Thomas
Where are you from originally and where do you live now?
I call Wellington my home now for the last few years, but originally am from just around the corner, Germany. Wellington provides me with anything I need right now, apart from a white christmas and the proximity to Hamburg, Spain and Norway.
What do you do at voeveo?
I am responsible for anything design/interface related you see on the site (so please be gentle with your critique :)). Interface design is a continuous process - there's always something to do, and it's great to see the site evolve visually.
What's some of your favourite content on voeveo?
Any illustrations by Happy Fingers, Chocolate Log and Oopie, and music by Circus Contraption
What kind of mobile phone do you have and why do you like it?
I have a Nokia 6234 and I like it quite a bit. It looks slick, is small and can do all the stuff I essentially need it to do for now. For a small phone it has great sound and an ok camera.
When you're not in the office what are you doing?
When AM I in the office..? Well, when I'm not, I play Volleyball, annoy neighbours playing guitar, build tables or dance Swing. Or I'm at one of Wellington's indie cinemas.
What's at the top of your playlist right now?
Listening to Mike's songs right now, and those would be by "Get cape, wear cape, fly". Great!
Any great Internet site finds?
Although around for a while, I still like Orisinal.com - heaps of nice flash games. I also do like Ponoko.com, which enables you to turn your own designs into something tactile.
