Team Q&A – Meet Joe
Where are you from originally and where do you live now?
I am (mainly) from Dunedin, NZ and now I live in Wellington, NZ.
What do you do at voeveo?
I am a developer and fire warden. It's my job to implement all the great ideas that our team and customers think up. In the event of a fire alarm, I am responsible for ensuring the voeveo team exit the building in a calm and orderly fashion.
What's some of your favourite content on voeveo?
I like everything by ChocolateLog and I employ several Monitor Maids to keep my screen clean and clear.
What kind of mobile phone do you have and why do you like it?
I really liked my Motorolla e770. It was a candybar model with a very simple UI. The best thing about it was the ability to assign any mp3 file as a ringtone for different people in the address book. Unfortunately some of the keys simply wore out after two solid years of texting & testing and I had to retire it. I inherited a Blackberry to replace the Moto. I like that it works.
When you're not in the office what are you doing?
I am a family man.
What's at the top of your playlist right now?
This month I have been mostly listening to albums by The Hold Steady. Eddie Vedder's soundtrack to the movie "Into The Wild" is also on high rotate.
