Team Q&A – Meet Jen
Where are you from originally and where do you live now?
I grew up on a farm in the North Island, New Zealand and moved to Wellington 25 years ago. I've been a city girl since then!
What do you do at voeveo?
I am a founding shareholder and one of the managing partners, along with Jane, Annabel and Jeff. I am primarily involved in business development in the UK and Europe and also lead the investment strategy, reporting to our Chairman.
What's some of your favourite content on voeveo?
I really like Zebracrossing and anything that Stereophonics has up on the site (thanks V2!)
What kind of mobile phone do you have and why do you like it?
I have a Nokia 6288 which I bought in Hong Kong on great advice from Annabel. I just love it - so many features and of course, it allows me to download almost all the content on voeveo!
When you're not in the office what are you doing?
When I get the chance to relax, I love the beach in summer and the skifields in winter. And anytime of the year, I enjoy spending time with friends drinking great NZ wine and cooking NZ beef and lamb.
What's at the top of your playlist right now?
Well, my age is showing. I have just bought the Eagles new album and I also enjoy the Dixie Chicks. Two NZ artists I listen to often are Anika Moa and Annie Crummer
Any great Internet site finds?
Given my love of travel, my internet bible is TripAdvisor. I wouldn't go anywhere or book anything without referring to this site. For business contacts, look no further than LinkedIn.
