Team Q&A – Meet Jeff
Where are you from originally and where do you live now?
I was born in Vanderhoof BC, went to high-school in Fernie BC, University in Victoria BC (yes, what you call a BC boy), moved to Wellington in 2001 and have lived here ever since.
What do you do at voeveo?
I am the bossy boss of the developers. I usually listen to their ideas, mock them and then present them to the higher ups as my own, thus ensuring my continued dominance of the development team. I also write code occasionally.
What's some of your favourite content on voeveo?
I like some of the great artwork we get up here from folks like like Hypnoteis, Mapache, Chocolate Log, etc. I also love to see the independant music labels and musicians putting their tracks up. Oh yeah and all the great games that are starting to pop up. Ok! the list would go on and on.
What kind of mobile phone do you have and why do you like it?
Blackberry Curve. I'm a Crackberry addict from the early hockey puck days and I'm still stuck on it. The Curve is my favorite so far since I can actually access a lot of multimedia stuff on our site now, including fulltracks, mp3 ringtones, videos etc. It also has a decent built-in camera. Interface is still great for email etc but now I can have a lot more fun.
When you're not in the office what are you doing?

What's at the top of your playlist right now?
Top 3 in my itunes list for the last while is Smile by Meshach Jackson, DVNO by Justice, Starlett Johansson by The Teenagers.
